The White House has launched Vaccines.gov to make it easier for all Americans to find a COVID-19 vaccine near them and ensure every adult is able to get vaccinated. 90% of Americans live within 5 miles of a vaccination site.
Vaccines.gov was built by the fantastic team at Boston Children’s Hospital. The original site has become Vaccines.gov, with updated site colors and branding reflected in the cartography. The CDC tested for the massive demand anticipated and confirmed the maps scale with traffic spikes automatically. Millions of people across the country find vaccine providers and supplies within a specified radius of their zip code using both search and maps.
