We are thrilled to announce that Laurel Finch has joined Mapbox as General Counsel and Secretary. Laurel has extensive experience working with high growth companies, including as Chief Legal Officer at CrowdStrike and General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at MobileIron, where she helped scale 4x revenue growth in her 5 year tenure. Laurel was also Deputy General Counsel of Visa USA, where she led a team of lawyers responsible for all commercial, corporate, product, regulatory and intellectual property legal activities. She was also the lead internal corporate lawyer on Visa’s complex corporate reorganization and subsequent $19.1 billion IPO. Prior to Visa, she was a partner at Venture Law Group and Heller Ehrman.  She comes to Mapbox from Gigamon, a $1.6 billion network visibility equipment company.

Laurel is responsible for all legal matters here at Mapbox and will focus on scaling the legal function to support and advance our strategic and operational goals, including strong sales growth and continued market leadership in product innovation.

In her free time, Laurel enjoys practicing her bad Spanish and boring people by bragging about her adult children.
