Townshend works on our enterprise sales team. He joined Mapbox full time in June 2017 to help grow the team and propel Mapbox’s growth.


Previously, Townshend worked at Vorsight as a Senior Customer Success Manager. In that role, he served as the customer’s main point of contact from the beginning of the sales cycle through the entire relationship. He was also tasked with onboarding and training new hires, as well as maintaining Salesforce for the organization.


Outside of work, Townshend is an avid sports fan (Atlanta professional teams and UVA for college). He also enjoys trying new restaurants in DC with his wife and going on hikes with his corgi, George. George can often be found at the office playing fetch down the hallway.
