Brynne is based out of Washington, D.C. where she supports the communications team in our online engagement. She is interested in the intersection of communication, technology, and human rights, and believes strongly that a story well told can create lasting change.

Prior to joining Mapbox, Brynne ran communications and strategy for D.C. tech policy non-profits advocating for digital rights. She also worked for Invisible Children, working to end the longest running war in Africa and runs the Nate Oteka Henn Memorial scholarship which provides college scholarships to Ugandan university students.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern Politics from the University of North Carolina. When she’s not at work, Brynne enjoys traveling, attempting to train her dog George, and convincing everyone that the answer to “What do you want to eat?” is always tacos.
