Amit is an imagery specialist at Mapbox, where he works on processing pipelines and interactivity with the satellite team. He brings expertise in multispectral imagery, data management, and web development.
Previously, Amit was a Citizen Science developer at the Adler Planetarium working on Zooniverse, a collection of citizen science projects. He has worked in education and public outreach for several NASA observatories, helping develop software and process astronomical imagery. When not coding, he can be found bouldering in a dingy basement or climbing outdoors.
Amit earned his bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics at American University and his master’s degree in Mathematics at Florida State University.
