Mapbox Extends Presence in Japan with Appointment of Yoshikazu Hata as Country Manager

The experienced senior leader will support expansion of the location technology platform’s engagement with companies and developers in Japan.

Yoshikazu Hata has held senior leadership positions at Apple, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft, where he built expertise in artificial intelligence and cloud and mobile technologies. He has extensive experience working with global enterprises to drive digital transformation and innovation across industries including automotive, manufacturing, financial services, retail, and construction. Most recently, Mr. Hata served as Microsoft’s Asia General Manager for Manufacturing and Mobility, providing strategic leadership across the region.
