Samsung’s highly polished vision for the digital connected cockpit has drawn crowds at the last two Consumer Electronic Shows (CES). Front and center, gorgeous Mapbox maps accessible to both driver and passengers through Samsung’s connected car of the future – Digital Cockpit.

Digital Cockpit is a co-development between Samsung Electronics and HARMAN International, and features AR navigation, incident alerts, and driver safety tools. The system uses V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) technology underpinned by 5G connectivity to link features inside and outside the vehicle, and includes eight interior displays.

Using the Mapbox Navigation SDK, Maps SDK for Android and Vision SDK, the Samsung team customized maps to complement the digital cockpit design with the right fonts, colors, and labels to create an engaging, interactive, and thoughtful experience for any user.
