Ryde, Singapore’s first carpooling company, is bringing community to ride-hailing. With tools to help users discover friends along route, set favorite drivers, chat, and send private requests, it’s almost a social platform with a ride-hailing problem.
Unlike traditional raid-hailing companies, Ryde started carpool first. Now, their fleet of 60,000 serves more than 300,000 passengers in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia with a full suite of on-demand mobility services - including carpool, school trips, on-demand delivery, private-hire, taxis, and even pets.
When users are in a hurry, Ryde also takes the guesswork out of finding the cheapest ride. Their app acts as a ride-sharing aggregator, letting users see the cost of the trip on Grab, Uber (in applicable countries), and even metered taxi rides.
