Christina will be at the annual conference of the International Data Responsibility Group in The Hague, The Netherlands.
Together with Katja Ulbert of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT), she will present on the role of open mapping in the European Migration Crisis. While mapping on OpenStreetMap has benefitted the visibility and coordination of services for vulnerable populations and during disaster response around the world, the Mapfugees project is a recent particularly successful application of open mapping in Europe.
We are committed to supporting humanitarian responders with data, satellite imagery, services for OpenStreetMap, and free Mapbox accounts. Learn more about Mapbox Humanitarian and see what others have built with our tools.
