Dfrost 2017

March 18-19, 2017 in Bangalore, India

Dfrost is the annual design fest of National Institute of Design, Bangalore, and Mapbox is excited to sponsor dLabs, which will feature a set of exciting workshops on map design, color theory, paper craft, design sprints and more.

Taking the theme of this year’s fest forward — “Beyond the Event Horizon” — Mapbox is conducting a hands-on Mapbox Studio workshop on designing a futuristic map that each participant can customize and personalize. The workshop will be held 2 PM onwards on Saturday, 18th March.

Mapbox Studio allows anyone to create beautiful maps with complete control over colors, typography, iconography and the data that is shown on the map. For example, you could create a map style to suit your project theme, switch between different styles, overlay weather data over a light style, show buildings in 3D and use customized Maki icons that look great on a map.

Catch Rasagy, Jinal, Ajith and Nikhil at the event if you’re interested in digital cartography, visualizing geo-spatial data, or anything to do with maps!
