Mapbox takes the safety and comfort of people marginalized in the tech community very seriously. Starting today we’re raising our support for diversity to the next level by adopting the Contributor Covenant’s code of conduct for all projects under the Mapbox organization on GitHub.

No longer are we relying on unwritten community rules; we’re writing down our commitment to a harassment-free experience for members, specific examples of behavior we will not tolerate, to whom you can report abusive behavior, and the actions you can expect project maintainers to take against abuse. The Contributor Covenant applies to all projects under the Mapbox organization whether they explicitly include the Contributor Covenant’s CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md or not.

Dear Mapbox open source contributors: continue being your best selves and know that we’re fully committed to keeping trolls and other jerks off your backs.
